You can also text your zipcode to 898-211 to get in touch with the United Way 211 Resources.  When you call or text you will be connected to a resource sponsored by United Way to assist families in need. Food Support

Free Breakfast and Lunch: Please complete the survey at this link to sign up 2142 students for free breakfast and lunch.  District staff will contact you after completing the survey.

HIBBING: Salvation Army is operating with drive-up food pickup until further notice. Food shelf is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9 am to 1 am and Tuesdays 1-3 pm (closed the 4th Tuesday of each month). Produce distribution will operate under the same guidelines. Salvation Army asks that you wait in your vehicle or near the building to be served. Each household will receive a box of pre-packaged food.

MT. IRON: The Quad Cities Food Shelf is operating with drive-up food pickup only until further notice. Customers are asked to wait in their vehicles to be served.

VIRGINIA: Arrowhead Center has removed clothing from their outdoor pantry and filled the shelves with food. Pre-made snack bags are available for children not in school. 

VIRGINIA: Salvation Army's bread table, food shelf, and supper club will be drive-through only until April 1.

BIGFORK/MARCELL: Timberwolf Inn is offering a free bag lunch to families in need starting at 11 am 3/18. 

HIBBING: Bach Yen Garden Restaurant is offering a simple sack lunch to children who need it between 11 am and 2 pm 3/18 - 3/27. Call 218-263-3647 during normal business hours for more information.
